Milan Fashion Week (MFW) Fall 2024 has indeed finished and fashion week has continued to Paris. However, a number of stylish, and slightly controversial, moments left an impression.
Taking place at the end of February, MFW presented the latest fashion for the fall and winter 2024-2025 season presented by creative Italian fashion minds. The names are dominated by old players, there are also quite a few who are just starting out.
Just mention Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Ferragamo, Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana. Don’t forget brands like Onitsuka Tiger and Furla.

First held by Camera Sindacale della Moda Italiana in 1958, MFW exists with world stars who never miss it. Including for this season. Here are a number highlights from MFW Fall 2024:
1. Debut, Debut, Debut

This edition of MFW marks a new chapter for several old fashion houses under the direction of their newest designers. Tod’s presented the first collection of Matteo Tamburini, who worked at Bottega Veneta.
Meanwhile, former Tod’s designer, Walter Chiapponi, was partnered by Blumarine. His first work will also appear on stage at MFW Fall 2024.
However, the spotlight was on Moschino who made this MFW to introduce Adrian Appiolaza’s first creation as its creative director. Adrian, whose credits include Louis Vuitton, Chloe and Louis Vuitton, only had three weeks to prepare the collection.

2. Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s provocative style

Once again the controversial couple gives their maximum style in look provocative. Attending the Marni show with her husband, Bianca Censori appeared in a dress leotards super minimal black skin that exposes intimate areas. As a complement, a pair of contrasting pink leather boots is a mainstay.
When his wife returned to her vulgar style, Kanye West instead wore completely covered clothes tracksuits all black. This striking difference in style once again sparked netizens to speculate that this vulgar appearance was a request from Kanye West.
They believe that Bianca has been ‘brainwashed’ by Kanye West and controlled in all her movements.

3. Luna Maya appeared at the Onitsuka Tiger Show

Among the emerging world stars, Luna Maya appeared at the Onitsuka Tiger ready-to-wear fashion presentation. The Italian winter doesn’t prevent this actress and presenter from wearing minimal looks.
He relies sleeveless mini-dress brightly colored asymmetrical. The floral motif that decorates her clothes creates an impression playful.
The ‘Suzanna Malam Friday Kliwon’ star then completed her style with a pair high-knee boots white from the Japanese sneaker label.
The fashion show that Luna attended was the first to celebrate Onitsuka Tiger’s 75th anniversary. The collection presented consists of 49 looks, according to the year it was founded, namely 1949.

Under the direction of designer Andrea Pompilio, the shoe brand known for its Mexico 66 sneaker series presents a line of clothing in its iconic palette of metropolitan grey, black, cream and hazelnut.
Unique techniques are applied to form silhouettes with a new touch throughout this collection entitled ‘Winter Urban’. Coats, jackets and peacoats accentuate the contrast between wide shoulders and narrow waists with stitching details such as tube padding and ribbing. The double cashmere hoodie represents a new layering concept as outerwear worn over a matching coat or blouse.
4. Anti-mainstream accessories

Food has once again inspired Fendi for its accessories collection. After the iconic Baguette bag, it’s the turn of the lollipop holder.
Collaborating with the Chupa Chups candy manufacturer, Fendi introduced this product at the Fall 2024 collection show.
Models wear it as a necklace, while others carry it like a bag. Reporting from WWD, this unique accessory is made from Selleria leather, which is famous for its quality and careful workmanship.

In several Fendi products, the material is hand-stitched with intricate details to strengthen Fendi’s unique craftsmanship identity.
This Fendi x Chupa Chups product comes in bright red, grey, army green, black, yellow and light blue.
Fendi’s fall 2024 collection was inspired by the Italian fashion house’s archives from 1984. “Kim Jones etches the period with lightness, drawing on key items – workwear, Blitz kids, Japanese style – that Karl Lagerfeld also absorbed and expressed at the helm this Roman fashion house,” wrote WWD.
5. Ga Young Transparent Dress

Moon Ga Young was one of the special guests attending Milan Fashion Week 2024. The star of the Korean drama True Beauty looked sexy wearing a transparent dress, which exposed her underwear.
On Saturday (24/2/2024) local time, Moon Ga Young appeared with Doyoung NCT at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show which showcased the latest Spring/Summer 2024 collection. However, her sexy style sparked debate among Korean netizens.
Previously supermodel Naomi Campbell wore a Moon Ga Young dress in runways Dolce & Gabbana in September 2023. However, when Moon Ga Young wore it, the bra part of the transparent dress only covered part of her breasts. As if following fashion trends underboob.
